hallo zusammen,
ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn jemand die muße hätte, sich mein anschreiben mal durchzulesen. natürlich möchte ich mich mit dem dingen nicht wirklich bewerben, dient als übung im business english workshop. bin über feedback dankbar :-)
Application for an internship at Nike in the marketing department
Dear Mr …,
I would like to apply for the internship in the marketing department in your company advertised on www.stepstone.com on 4th June, 2008, in order to support your enterprise with my commitment and to enlarge my already acquired marketing knowledge.
Currently, I am studying ‘International Marketing’ in the fourth semester at .... Due to my course of study I was able to acquire broad theoretical and applied skills concerning marketing issues. This includes for example autonoumsly accomplished market researches, the development of business plans and marketing concepts as well as the foundation of a mini company in the third and fourth semester, where I worked as Production Manager and Human Resource Assistant. I want to yield these experiences into my work in your company.
The activities in the marketing department of Nike raise my interest, because I also want to work in this field after graduation. Additionally, Nike is an interesting enterprise, which caught my attention already during the first month of my studies. I can identify with the mission and vision of the company and want to enlarge my knowledge and skills in a prestigious and traditional company like Nike is.
My flexibility, my ability to work in a team and my interest for sports and lifestyle are all attributes that fit to the image of your company and the brand Nike. Furthermore, I fulfill my work always accurately, I am able to work independently and I am motivated to learn about new issues. These aspects pose good prospects for a successful internship in your company.
I would like to integrate myself into your team for five to six month and I will surely make myself helpful after a short amount of time, in order to gain a profit out of the internship for both parties.
The internship can be started between August and September 2008. A move to ... would be possible without any problems.
