vielleicht kann sich ja jemand mal die zwei texte anschauen und nach sicherlich vorhandenen fehlern such... werde gleich wahrscheinlich noch ein zwei texte posten! Augenzwinkern

Nelson Mandela was against the oppression of/against (?) South Africa's black people, so he joined the "African National Congress" (ANC) in 1944. They tried to stop the apartheid policies of the government with non-violent protests and that was why Nelson Mandela was involved in a big treason trial.
After some years, he became the leader of the liberation movement "Umkhoto we sizwe" which was an organisation that was ready to fight with weapons.
Because of leading this organisation and wanting to overthrow the government by using violence, Nelson Mandela was convicted of a life-long imprisonment.
When he was released in 1990 he changed his mind and decided to stop the armed struggle and to fight again with non-violent acts (kann man hier act sagen?!).
But I want to emphasize that Nelson Mandela did not only want to stop the oppression of the white people against the black people; his ideology was depending on equality for everybody! So he was against the white domination as well as against the black domination and like that he wanted nobody to consider himself superior!
All in all, Nelson Mandela was fighting for a world in which everybody could live together in harmony with equal opportunities!

Mahatma Gandhi was living in India and he fought a long time for the independence of "his" country, because it was a colony and the British had the power in it.
But Mahatma Gandhi was strictly against violence, so he developed a concept called "satyagraha" which was depending on non-vionlent resistance. For encourageing the people to do something against the racism in South Africa, where he also lived for a long time, he travelled around and educated the people about "satyagraha".
As I already said, Mahatma Gandhi was fighting for India's independence and in 1930 he broke the salt-law of the British, who had the monopoly of salt, and he wanted all the people to do the same! Because of this non-violent act of resistance, Mahatma Gandhi had to go to prison, but he also succeded with his protest: In 1947 India became an independant state!
In addition, Mahatma Gandhi fought against the caste system in India. This system divided the community into different types of groups which had all another quantity of power. So the "Untouchables", the lowest caste of India, had nothing to say and were always oppressed, but in 1947 the practise of untouchability got illegal unter anderem because of Mahatma Gandhi's support!
And to show that he was totally convinced of fighting with non-violence, he started his lifelong practise of fasting!

All in all, Nelson Mandela was fighting for a world in which ALL PEOPLE (sonst stimmt der Sinn nicht) could live together in harmony with equal opportunities!

Du bist total sprachenbegabt, aber das hab ich dir eh schon mal gesagt.
Ein paar Sachen, die ich ausgebessert hab, sind bloß ein bisserl besseres Englisch. Dein Ausdruck wär auch gegangen.
Es sind ganz wenige Fehler drin.
