Hallo, ich habe eine Aufgabe bekommen, einen Aufsatz zu schreiben.

Where would you prefer to work, in the town or the country?

Normally if we look for a job, the first of most important things for us is the job by itself. This means, in a perfect world it should be an appropriate position with interesting und challenging tasks and an attractive salary of course. The second main thing we often pay attention for is a company’s success. We looking for the company with a good name and image, with opportunities to self-development and with attractive social conditions, such as large education program, holyday and Christmas pay, company’s car and so on. If we’re satisfied with all this terms it might be less important for us where the company is situated, in the town or in the country. Nevertheless If I had a choice, I would prefer to work in the town instead of the country because it has for me a lot of following advantages.

One of them is a good technical and social infrastructure. So, there are a variety of possibilities to reach a workplace: by car, by train, by underground etc. It is mostly easier and faster. You can also spend your lunch time in the city center with colleagues or friends, go for shopping or to the doctor or simple enjoy the big city life after working time. According to my practical experience people earn much higher in the town because of the big city advantage.

In conclusion I would say that it is less relevant where you work in the town or in the country. My opinion is that is quite more important to have a job which you like and which you really enjoy for a long time.
