Hallo,
da „Englische Grammatik“ nicht gerade meinen Stärken gehört, würde ich mich über eine Korrektur meines Textes freuen. Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen!
Ich bedanke mich jetzt schon an jeden der mir Hilft!
Mein Text:
► Working with the text
2. Reading between the lines
Who says it? What does he/she really mean?
Bei dieser Aufgabe komme ich nicht weiter! Vllt könntet ihr mir hierbei helen
a) ‘Watch your wing!’
Simon. ‘Be careful, Yvonne. Someone is coming from the side.’
b) ‘What have you done this time?’
Mr Higgins. ‘……’
c) ‘Just see that you have my order ready next Monday’
Mr Singh. ‘……’
d) ‘Hand-made, really classy’
Yvonne. ‘……’
3. Going deeper
a) What do you think links Simon and Sonia? What separates them? Think of language, geography, school, food, work, …
I think that a lot of things are linking Simon and Sonia. Simon can speak English and Sonia wants to learn English. Both of them are going to school. Then they are also thinks that separates them. Simon is living in Europe and Sonia is living in Asia. Sonia is working to get money for an English book and Simon is playing football and gets money to buy a new football. Simon have a lot of food and Sonia only a little bit.
b) Find out how many euros Sonia gets for one football. How much does it cost in the shop in England?
7 Indische Rupie = 0.12013 Euro
7 Euro (EUR) = 407.875 Indische Rupie (INR)
Sonia get for one football 0.12013 Euro.
9.99 Britisches Pfund = 14.71368 Euro
9.99 Euro (EUR) = 6.78281 Britisches Pfund (GBP)
In the shop in England one football cost 14.71368 Euro.
c) Can you think of another title for the text?
- The differences between young people in Europe and in India
d) Why do you think the writer wrote this story? What is she/he trying to say?
The write that wrote this story is trying to say that English is a very important language. You have to work if you want to change something and you don’t have to be lazy. The writer is also trying to say that there are differences between young people in Europe and in India.

Die Aufgabe zwei kann man ja nicht berichtigen (irgendwo ein Fehler?).
Zu drittens:
Zitat: | Then there are also things that separate them. | (Hast du wohl they und there verwechselt)
Zitat: | Simon has a lot of food and Sonia only some. |
Zitat: | Sonia gets 0.12013 Euros for one football.
| (Satzstellung beachten: Erst wie viel und DANN wofür - logische Satzstellung).
Zitat: | you must not be lazy | Alternativ, wenn dir "nicht dürfen" zu stark ist: "you should not be" - aber "you don't have to be" heißt ja: Du musst nicht - ich glaube nicht, dass du das sagen wolltest.
Insgesamt gilt: Achte auf die Regel: He/she/it, das "s" muss mit.
Gruß
