Hallo,
habe mal wieder was zum drüberschauen und korregieren, wenn mal jemand so lieb wäre,danke!
Aufgabe 1: Vokabeln
a) I saw a very interesting documentary programme on India last night.
b) I never watch programmes like that. I only ever watch feature films.
c) The Times is probably the most famous national daily newspaper.
d) It's a quality newspaper.
e) There are quite a lot of good regional newspapers as well.
f) - What about the popular papers?
- Well, they sell most of all.
g) - Which paper has the highest circulation?
- I'm not sure. I think it's the Sun.
h) I find listening to classic music on the radio very relaxing.
i) Are there any good current affairs programmes on British television?
j) What sort of readership does the Guardian aim at?
Aufgabe 2: Aus vorgegebenen Worten Satz bilden
b) Susan/decide/to study medicine - Susan decides to study medicine.
c) Grandad/stop/smoking cigars - Grandad has stopped smoking cigars.
d) The Rex Cinema/close down - The Rex Cinema closed down.
e) Mary/change/her job - Mary has changed her job.
f) A new comedy series/start/on television - A new comedy series has been starting on television.
Aufgabe 3: Present? Past? Present Perfect? Richtige Zeit einsetzen
b) - Have the newspapers been delivered yet?
- Yes, they have been delivered at 8 a.m.
c) Sorry, we no longer have The Times,sir. I have sold all our copies.
d) I often listen to the radio when I am in the car.
e) I often listened to the radio when I went to work by car.
f) You must have made a mistake,madam. Our shop never sold forgein magazines. We used to have some forgein newspapers.

a) - Wann wird die Zeitung geliefert? - When is the newspaper supplied?
- Normalerweise vor dem Frühstück. - Normally before the breakfast.
b) Die meisten Engländer lesen eine überregionale Zeitung. - Most Englishmen read a national daily newspaper.
c) Die Massenblätter verkaufen sich besser als die seriösen Blätter. - The popular papers sell better than the quality papers.
d) In Großbritannien wird die Regierung alle fünf Jahre gewählt. - In Great Britain the government is selected every five years.
e) - Haben Sie die Zeitung heute schon gelesen? - Did you already read the newspaper?
- Nein, aber ich habe die Nachrichten im Radio gehört. - No, but I heard the news on the radio.
f) - Man kann nicht überall ausländische Zeitungen kaufen. - You cannot buy forgein newspapers everywhere.
- Ich weiß. In unserem Geschäft kann man sie nur auf Bestellung bekommen. - I know. In our business you can get it only on order.
g) - Wieviele Kunden haben Sie heute schon gehabt? - How many costumers did you already have today?
- Über 80, glaube ich. - Over 80, I believe.
h) Wie schade! Ich habe mein Lieblingsprogramm verpasst! - How harm! I missed my favourite programme!
Aufgabe 5: My favourite newspaper/magazine
My favourite magazine is the Spiegel. The Spiegel appears eveery Monday. It's a magazine which deals with new political news and news
about the contemporary hitory like the earthquake in China. Sometimes there are fantastic specials like Digital Video Discs about Hitler's
takeover or about the wall fall in 1989 in Berlin.
There are some take offs from the Spiegel like Spiegel biography or Spiegel theme. The first of them tells us something about
great persons in the contemporary history like John F.Kennedy, Mohammed Ali or some else. It shows us their lifes and their meaning
for the people and their time. The second shows us some periods in time like the First and Second World War.
All in all we could say that the Spiegel is a highly informatic and think highly of magazine of our time.
Aufgabe 6: Radio or televison - which do you prefer?
I prefer television. Here for there are several points.
First of all television is more interesting because the choice between the different channels are much higher than the selection on radio.
Further more I have the chance to the see the people who are concerned, for example by the earthquake in China.
As well television offers the possibilty to watch Blockbusters like Star Wars, Indiana Jones or Saw.
The lasr point which is worth mentioning is the fact that we have the chance to listen to music and to listen to radio over televison.
A further opportunity to listen to music is with Media Center or over the world wide web.

vielen Dank erstmal für eure Hilfe....noch irgendwelche Tipps für Aufgaben 4-6? Ich weiß, in Aufgabe 5 und 6 sind einige Rechtschreibfehler.

Ich hab jetzt mal nichts eingefärbt. Das was ich geändert habe wird dir schon auffallen und wenn du fragen hast warum ich es geändert hab, dann frag mich einfach

- Normalerweise vor dem Frühstück. - Normally before (the)[das the kannst du rauslassen. Lässt sich dann fließender lesen und hört sich auch besser an] breakfast.

c) Die Massenblätter verkaufen sich besser als die seriösen Blätter. - The popular papers sell better than the reliable papers.

Nein, "quality" passt schon. Es gibt den feststehenden Ausdruck "quality press" für seriöse Tageszeitschriften - neben "popular press" für Sun&Co.

Für die Schule würde ich "What a pity" vorziehen - "what a bummer" wird meist auch gar nicht gelehrt... Aber Recht hast du natürlich...

habe gleich nochmal Aufgaben, wo ich dankbar wäre, wenn ihr euch es mal anschauen könntet.
Aufgabe 1:
g) - Goodness! There's something black floating in my wine!
- Nothing to worry about! It's only a c....!(welches Wort mit 4 noch fehlenden Buchstaben wird hier gesucht?)
Aufgabe 2: 'if'-'unless'-'in case'
b) It won't work unless you switch it on!
c) Let's buy some more cheese in case we have some visitors.
d) We'll take a taxi unless you prefer to walk.
e) The dentist gave me some pills in case my tooth hurt over the weekend.
f) If you are not sure how to do it, ask the teacher.

Beispiel lautet wie folgt:
party - enough people (vorgegebene Worte)
I might throw a party if enough people can come.
And what if they can't?
I won't throw a party unless enough people can come. <- soweit das Beispiel
b) cinema - good film on

c) TV - interesting programme on

Aufgabe 4: Sätze zu Ende führen
b) If you had asked me in time, I would have come.
c) I'm not going to write to her unless she come.
d) Will you speak to her if you see her?
e) Unless you work harder, you will earn more money.
f) They would have told us if something had happened.
g) They wouldn't have told us unless something had happened.
h) If you went now, you would reach your train.
Aufgabe 5: Sätze anders formulieren (mit if Sätzen)
b) He didn't know it was a bottle party and so he brought a box of chocolates. - If he had known about the bottle party he wouldn't have
brought a box of chocolates.
c) They didn't go to America because it was so expensive. - If they had gone to America it would have been so expensive.(?)
d) I didn't write a letter because I was so busy. - If I had written the letter I wouldn't have been so busy.
e) They didn't know John was in London and so they didn't invite him to lunch. - If they had known about John they would have invited him to lunch.
Aufgabe 6: Übersetzung
a) Dieser Bus verkehrt samstags nicht. - This bus doesn't operate Saturday.
b) Wenn Sie eine Fete steigen lassen, sollten Sie auch für nicht-alkoholische Getränke sorgen. - If you let rise a party, you should provide also soft-drinks.
c) Normalerweise schließt diese Kneipe um 23 Uhr, aber der Gastwirt kann manchmal um eine Verlängerung nachsuchen. - Normally this tavern closes at 23 o'clock, but sometimes the restaurant operator can seek an extension.
d) Ich mag dieses Restaurant; es ist nett eingerichtet. - I like this restaurant, it's nicely furnished.
e) - Was brauche ich für Glühwein? - What do I need for glow wine?
- Das Wichtigste ist Rotwein. Du brauchst aber auch Zucker, Nelken und Zimt. - The most important is red wine. In addition you need sugar, carnations and cinnamon.
Aufgabe 7: The worst party I have ever been to
A few weeks ago I went to a party but I didn't enjoy it because everything went wrong. On the way to the party we proceeded ourselves. When we
arrived finite the party, there was hardly anybody there. A few people were standing around with glasses in their hands making conversation,
it was very boring. More and more people turned up with the time, wine was served but it was much too watery and there wasn't enough sugar in it.
The food wasn't very good either, vegetarian meal for a party, very strange. The music was too loud and the host was playing folk music.
It was a really terrible party.

nee,bin nimmer in der Schule, ist ein Englisch Kurs. Schule ist schon ein bisschen her, deshalb habe ich manches vergessen.
