The internet is the most important invention of the 20th century. It’s a huge network of data an telephone connection world wide. The internet affects our everyday life in parts such as working, shopping and communication. It’s a result of the military work and became mass medium in the 90’s. The number of users increased very fast. The development of the internet grown faster than the development of television, radio and telephone.
I’m sure that the internet make the communication between people much easier. The people can use chat programmes and e-mail to communicate. There force you can have contact with people all over the world. For example you be able to play online games with people all over the world. Although you can find a lot of information’s. On the other hand there are also amount of useless information’s. Only 15 percent of the information’s are useful. Another reason for the internet is that you can save money when you are shopping because you can compare prices fast. Moreover internet shop sell much things cheaper then shops in cities because the have lower personal costs. I would say the internet although help you to find jobs. Much firms write a job offer on job web sites. An other argument for the internet is that you can control your bank account easier from your office our your house.
In the other hand there are reason why the internet is not so good. For example children have access to adult sites and the are no protection for minors. Another reason against the internet is the fact that the internet make addictive. So children and young people sit a long time on the computer and don’t go out or play with other kids. The computer is not so secure because heakers can destroy your system. The internet isn’t an controlled authority because it is impossible to control the complete internet. So there is a lot of computer crime. Much people don’t bye music because they load there music from special server where the music where offered. This is a negative affect for the music industry since the CD’s where not sell and the artist get no money for the music. The same thing happens with movies. An other computer crime is the child pornography. There are many picture from children in the internet. When you have an email address you get very much spam and undesired emails.
Finally the internet make our life easier and more comfortable. All in all I’m sure that the internet affects our everyday life and make it a lot easier.
