Sister St Agnes prays to God but she finds it difficult to express herself. Why do you think so? Suggest what her words might have been.
Sister St Agnes seems to be a woman of faith who uses her prays for the other nuns.
In the book is described that Sister St Agnes had been praying for over two hours and that she is a person who really believes in God. She can join her Lord and feel the peace of belief.
In spite of her extraordinary faith and her apparently content and strong personality, she feels disturbed and has even difficulties with praying.
I think the whole situation is very difficult and mainly the death of Sister Ruth seems to be very incriminating for her. But not foremost the pray for her girlfriend is so disturbing to her, however it’s difficult to pray for an end of this evil. She desires to God to deliver her, her fellow nuns and the orphans but I think that, in effect, she doesn’t believe in a liberating end.
Religion was the thing she could always draw on – but this time, it’s the first time she seems to doubt the force of God. It’s not easy for her to ask for help – she always prefers the other nuns and is very selfless. So her words might have been that she is frightened of dying in this desert or of loosing her faith.
Es wäre sehr nett, wenn jemand diesen Text korrigieren könnte... Es ist eine Interpretation zu einer Frage vom Buch `St Agnes Stand`. |

In the book it is described that Sister St Agnes had been praying past perfect passt in einer solchen Interpretationsaufgabe überhaupt nicht. Am besten bleibt man im Präsens. Hier könnte aber evtl. auch present perfect passen, je nachdem was du genau sagen möchtest for over two hours and that she is a person who really believes in God. She can join her Lord and feel the peace of belief.

She desires to God ich glaube nicht, dass man "to desire" so benutzen kann to deliver her, her fellow nuns and the orphans but I think that, in effect, she doesn’t believe in a liberating end.

Wenn sie sich wirklich gerade in einer Wüste befindet, solltest du das besser schon am Anfang schreiben or of loosing her faith. |
Kurzformen wie "it's" sollte man eigentlich auch ausschreiben... |
