Meine Frage:
halloo,
ich wollte mich für in den sommerferien für ein workcamp in indien bewerben. da ich leider in sachen motivationsschreiben nicht sehr bewandert bin, hab ich den inhalt teilweiße aus einigen mustern entnommen. wäre sehr sehr lieb wenn das jemand korrekturlesen würde und mir sagen kann ob der text im wesentlichen stimmig ist. liebe grüße und vielen dank schonmal im vorraus ;)
Dear Sir or Madam,
Through several discoveries about opportunities to get in touch with another culture by working within, I would like to apply for a position in your volunteer workcamp in Kundapur, from 20th of August until the 2nd of September.
I am an 18 year old student at the Angell- Montessori grammar school in Freiburg, Germany and will graduate in spring 2013. I have good Command of English and a little knowledge of French. During my leisure time I do lots of sport, which makes me come to rest and stay physically loadable. Also communication of any kind occupies an important place in my life, which allows me to quickly establish relationships, so I can deal well with children and teamwork. Furthermore, I am a very flexible person; I am enthusiastic about any kind of work and may even keep patience in demanding situations.
I want to visit India because it has always exerted a fascination on me. But no knowledge about a culture is comparable to a visit, where you really learn to understand the mentality and attitude of the inhabitants. Through your Organization I very much hope to be involved in the cultural life and to be confronted with the local problems, so that I am able to change my and my fellow men?s consciousness. I am certain, that work abroad gives a perfect opportunity to learn more about that country, its history, culture, people and traditions. In general, I consider a cultural exchange for very useful and I would love to support this project through my participation. Above all, it promotes a more peaceful contact with each other, especially through personal clashes, with aspects such as tolerance, respect and acceptance.
It would be a great experience to work, with the Help of FSL India, in a multicultural community, to share different views, communicate with people from many nations and achieve goals together. I wish to attend in social development and actually learn something for myself too. It would be grateful if I can contribute to this project and I hope you will give me the possibility to.
