Hi, ich muss in Past Simple, Present Perfect Simple oder Past Perfect Simple einsetzen und weiß nicht ob ich richtig eingesetzt habe.
New Yorker Mike Novak and his British wife, Suzanne, are no ordinary couple. They were (be) married for five years now, and both has travelled (travel) all around the world since their marriage, but the story of how they first met (meet) is extraordinarily romantic.
Suzanne left school at 16. She became a hairdresser and had specialised (specialise) in work on luxury liners. One day she has gotten (get) a telephone call asking her to fly out to Bremerhaven. A company was renovating the "Queen Elizabeth II", a luxury liner, and Suzanne was (be) in charge of setting up a beauty salon on the liner. As a schoolgirl, Suzanne have loved (love) travelling and romance, but nothing in her life up to then prepared (prepare) her for the fairytale affair which changed her life forever ...
On her second evening in Germany. Suzanne and her workmates joined a group of workmen going to a restaurant. Suzanne has founded (found) herself sitting next to Mike Novak, the man who lived (live) with her ever since. They both talked about their jobs, and Mike told Suzanne he was a plumber. In fact, this was a "white lie". For several years now, Mike was (be) a vice-president of the company which owns the QEII. "I had not told (not, tell) Suzanne my real job when I met her because I thought she would be put off if she knew who I really was," says Mike.
