Introduce yourself! What´s your name? Where do you come from and where do you live now? Are you a pupil or a student or other?
My real name is "Jama". Surprised?  Ah, please don´t pronounce it "Dschama" when you see me, otherwise I´ll try this  out  It´s simply pronounced "Jama" with a "German J".
However... I´m 20 years old and actually hated the English class at last. Main reason could be (just "could"!) my "pink" teacher and her pretty naive attitude to life. If you know the film "Donnie Darko", you have a pretty good idea how she was (referring to the teacher of the dance group).

I'm Thomas, *surprise surprise* and i think you know me quite well 
For the others:
I come from a small village in Bavaria and i'm 18 years old. I think i'm quite good at english, but i know, that i make many mistakes, too
So please correct me if you find any, thanx a lot 
In school i have englisch grundkurs (english word for that?) and it's ok. I think I'll write Abitur in this subject.

Hey!  My name's Lea (can you imagine!? lol Yes I know, this is getting old ) I'm 15 years old and I live near Zurich, Switzerland. That means I speak German - not French!
Well what more to say...

I can´t say how I found this name, but I use it everywhere in the internet and I think it´s funny and more inventive than my real name is.
I found "englischboard" by means of "matheboard" which I like very much...

Unfortunately we didn´t have the chance to learn a third foreign language in grade 9. Especially beside Latin Spanish would´ve been a reasonable completion. Does you daughter attend a normal school type?

humm there's nothin to say about me, so i'll remain quiet for now...
although my english isn't that good, i hope i'll be able to help some people out of messes and stresses... should work quite fine... better than in the maths-board

I life in Hessen, Germany, in a smal town near Francfort / Main.
In the last years I'd went two times to Great Britain for language courses.

well, if you say "....welcome to theEnglish board" you mean this special one, I would to your English board. The expression English board is two words, there only less words in the English spelling "connected to one.
BTW: Best Regards , the spelling is "Best regards"
But in a board used by young people it would be perhaps more attractive to say "See you" or "CU". How do you both like my suggestion? But in the end it will be your decision .

Ok here we go,
I'm Lisa and I live in a town named Wolfsburg near Hannover. Where the VW got there headquater.
I'm 18, turning 19 in september and I hope to get my Abitur next here. I've been to America the 11th school year and I enjoyed it. Since then english is my favorit language even though it is getting worse since I'm back in germany. It's almost a year now...geez...
