hi, habe ein essay zum thema global warming geschrieben. kann bitte jemand fehler in grammatik, satzbau oder wörtern suchen?

It’s obvous that our earth has changed within the last centuries: climatic, physical and ecological changes can be observed in every corner of our planet: Ice caps are shrinking, glaciers melt away, the sea level is rising and the ocean water temperature is increasing. Birds start to lay their eggs earlier, trees flower earlier and some plant and animal species declined. This observations form a collective picture of a warming world.
Scientists concluded that human activities are contributing to global warming by adding large amounts of heat-trapping gases to the atmosphere: Driving a car, using electricity and heating our homes with oil or natural gas is connected with the release of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases, which are released when land-use changes, for example by deforestation. In the atmosphere those gases start to trap the reflecting sun and keep some heat just as a greenhouse retains warmth. Indeed, the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide has increased by 31 percent since pre-industrial times.
As the concentration of these gases grows, more heat is trapped by the atmosphere and cause altered weather patterns that can bring unusually intense precipitation or dry spells and more severe storms.
A rise of 1-2 °C would have dramatic effetcs: The sea level would rise by 50 cm, leading to more coastal erosions and flooding storms. Natural ecosystems like forests or alpine regions would break down and agriculture would be destroyed in some parts of the world.
Even if we stopped emitting heat-trapping gases immediately, the climate wouldn’t stabilize for many decades but stay there for centuries. So global temperature cannot quicly return to today’s average if we reduce emissions as a last-ditch attempt. The faster and more the earth warms, the greater the chanzes are for some irreversible climatic changes.
Obviously the most important action to slow global warming is to reduce emissions of heat-trapping gases. Governments, individuals and businesses can all help.
Energy efficiency standarts should be increased and the use of renewable energy sources (such as wind and solar power) encouraged. Forests should be protected and restored because they serve as important storehouses of carbon.
We should drive less and drive more fuel-efficient and less-polluting cars, use energy-efficient appliances nad less electricity in general.
Reducing our impact on the global climate does not have to hurt the world’s economies. The challenge is to strike a balance between responding early enough to avoid major negative costly impacts and to avoid big, expensive steps now which then may turn out to be unnecessary. This type of challenge is typical in business and industry; decision-making under uncertainty is the daily bread of most managers. Clearly, global warming forces us to act and doesn’t warrant a ,,wait-and-see” stance.We are in a serious long-term problem that will affect all of us. There is much we can do now, even in a cost-effetive manner, and we should reduce our impact on the global climate. Ich werd jetzt erstmal die Rechtschreibfehler korrigieren und evt, wenn dann noch Zeit ist auch auf den Inhalt und das gesamte Bild eingehen.

1.) it's obvious.... ( i hast du vergessen )
2.) glaciers are melting ( mit dem away würde das eher wie dahinschmelzen klingen und das meinst du ja nicht )
3.) inhaltlich: ein Auto zu fahren ist ja nicht so das schlimme, aber auf die Masse kommts drauf an....
4.) du meinst ja sicher pre-industrial times in Bezug auf Länder wie Deutschland, England und USA oder?! Weil in den Entwicklungsländern hat die Industrialisierung ja erst ab 1950 eingesetzt....wäre jetzt ne Frage von nen paar Jahrzehnten....

8.) alpine Regionen sind keine Ökosysteme....das sind nur das Meer, das Land und der Wald....aber keine Alpine Region.

12.) Ich würde sagen, dass man nicht nur weniger fahren sollte sondern unnötigen Fahrten wie z.B. in die Innenstädte oder zum Briefkasten vermeiden sollte. Also Fahrten, die man gut und gerne auch erlaufen kann. Wenn man z.B. in den Urlaub in die Alpen fährt, lässt es sich kaum verhindern das Auto zu benutzen und das ist ja auch noch ok.

14.) ...."wait and see" stance... im Englischen müssen die Anführungsstrichchen immer oben sein.

Bis auf Kleinigkeiten ist dir der Text sehr gut gelungen.

danke für die korrektur! sry, war lange nich mehr da. bin 13.klasse und der text war persönliche vorbereitung zum schriftlichen abitur (LK)

Hast du denn jetzt schon abi geschrieben?!
habs auch gerade in englisch hinter mir und ich hätte mich über so ein abithema gefreut...bei uns gings aber um Science Fiction literature und die Bedeutung von büchern
