Hi MI,
wir sollen ein Referat über eine Show aus dem TV machen, die uns gefällt. Da ich nur die Simpsons gucke, kommt das nur für mich in Frage.
I am going to tell you about my favourite Show on TV: The Simpsons.
I have watched it for many years and every day I am keen to watch a new episode. The Simpsons are a funny yellow family who were created by Matt Groening an comicdrawer. He had the idea for the simpsons and drew them originally.
Let me introduce the characters:
Homer ist the most important character in the show. He ist the father of the family and he is a little bit thick and stupid. He works at a nuclear power station but he often sleeps at work and eats a lot of donuts. Every day happens him new mistakes and this makes the show very funny.
His wife marge is the mother of the simpsons and she is very lovely and cares about the familiy and plays the role of the good mother.
Bart is the son and he is a mad guy. He does a lot of bad and funny things and annoys his parents an teachers with it. Bart loves skateboarding and speacially the boys who watch the simpsons like him. He is also my personally favourite charakter and every day I am afraid of his new jokes.
His sister lisa is very smart and she learns a lot and has a really high IQ. Her brother Bart annoys her often but she [hier will ich sagen, dass sie es über sich ergehen lässt und hofft irgendwann weg zu sein von zu Hause und studieren zu können oder Ärztin werden zu können]
Also in the family there is a little baby called Maggie. She can't speak and is often with her mother because she is too young.
The Simpsons live in Springfield and there are a lot of different people to who are also funny.
The show has over 460 episodes and it is one of the most favourite comic shows all over the world.
There were also many famous charakters in the show for example: the rolling stones, arnold schwarzenegger and Stephen Hawking.
I couldn't imagine a world without the simpsons and I hope that my talk has pleased you. |

Insgesamt gar nicht so schlecht. Es sieht nach viel aus, aber das meiste sind wirklich Kleinigkeiten und ein paar Verbesserungsvorschläge, um das ganze stilistische runder zu gestalten.

"thick" ist nicht "dick" im Sinne von Körperstatur, dazu muss man "big" oder "fat" benutzen. He works at a nuclear power station but he often sleeps at work and eats a lot of donuts. Every day, new mistakes happen to him and this makes the show very funny. Satzstruktur: Subject Verb Object ist fest und darf in der Reihenfolge nicht geändert werden.
His wife Marge is the mother of the Simpsons and she is very lovely and cares about the familiy and plays the role of the good mother.
Bart is the son and he is a mad guy. He does a lot of bad and funny things and annoys his parents an teachers at the same time. Bart loves skateboarding and especially boys who watch the Simpsons like him. "insbesondere/besonders" heißt "especially". "special" heißt "speziell" - nicht im Sinne von "besonders". He is also my personal favourite character and every day I am looking forward to his new jokes. "I am afraid" heißt eher "Angst haben".
His sister Lisa is very smart and she learns a lot and has a really high IQ. Her brother Bart annoys her often but she lets him get away with it, hoping to one day leave her home to study at university. Das ist ein Vorschlag. Sagt allerdings eher aus, dass sie ihn davonkommen lässt und eben gleichzeitig hofft wegzukommen von zu Hause.
The last member of the family is a little baby called Maggie. She can't speak and is often with her mother because she is still very young. "too young" ist nicht wirklich falsch, aber ich erwarte dann immer so etwas wie "zu jung, um zu..." und das ist hier nicht da, daher mein Vorschlag für eine Alternativkonstruktion.

The show has over 460 episodes and it is one of the most favourite comic shows all over the world. Das "favourite" gefällt mir da nicht wirklich, weil irgendwie ein bisschen das Bezugswort fehlt. Bin mir da aber nicht sicher - persönlich würde ich vermutlich eine Konstr. wie "watched" (meistgesehen) verwenden, was aber natürlich etwas leicht anderes aussagt...
In addition, many famous characters appeared in the show for example: the Rolling Stones, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Stephen Hawking.
I couldn't imagine a world without the Simpsons and I hope that you have enjoyed my talk. Die vorherige Konstruktion ist in dem Zusammenhang sehr unüblich. |

Every day new mistakes happen to him and this makes the show very funny. Beachte das Subjekt: "new mistakes happen" --> Homer ist das Objekt "to him", das Subjekt stellen "mistakes" - und das ist Plural!
