Smoking in the U.S.A.

In the eyes of many teens in Germany smoking is “cool” and in the eyes of many grown ups it is normal. But since there were many campaigns against smoking in the U.S.A. are just 20% of the US-Americans still smoker. Many people there guess that the addiction is asocial and disgusting. So the smokers have often to stand silly and wicked remarks. It’s also forbidden to smoke in public buildings and in California it is stricter. There is also a smoking-prohibition in all restaurants and bars. And in New York is smoking in subways, in all public buildings, in busses, in restaurants with more then 35 seats, by sport events, in theatres and in operas forbidden. Many companys in the U.S.A. forbid their employs to smoke in their breaks. But if they ignore the prohibition they lose their job. So it’s a bad idea to light a cigarette in the U.S.A.!

Iin California it is even stricter, since there is also a smoking-ban in all restaurants and bars. And in New York smoking in subways, in all public buildings, in busses, in restaurants with more then 35 seats, at sport events, in theatres and in operas is forbidden. Many companies in the U.S.A. forbid their employees to smoke on their breaks. If they ignore this prohibition they lose their job. So it’s generally a bad idea to light a cigarette in the U.S.A.!
