Ich muss zu morgen einen Lückentext ausfüllen und verstehe das nicht. kann bitte einer kontrollieren, ob ich das richtig gemacht habe und es mir erkären ?

Es muss "powered" statt "powering", "being" statt "been", "recreating" stat "recreated" und besser "having worked" statt "working" heißen.
Es gibt halt zwei verschiedene Partizipien, genau wie im Deutschen. Das Partizip auf -ing entspricht dem deutschen auf -nd und das auf -ed entsprecht dem Deutschen, das meistens mit ge- beginnt. Allerdings können sie im Englischen als eigenständige Partizipialkonstruktion (z.B. Gerund) eingesetzt werden, was im Deutschen so meistens nicht geht. Das Partizip auf -ing ist aktiv und das auf -ed ist passiv. Die Mühlen werden von Wasserrädern angetrieben (passiv), also "powered". Die übrigen sind (aktiv) Jungen und Mädchen, also "being".
Having worked drückt aus, dass der Vorgang in der Vergangenheit angefangen hat und noch weiter fortdauert. Er hat da schon sein ganzes Leben lang gearbeitet und tut es immer noch. |
