Hallo,
Danke!
In 2001 Dennis Neer, Minister of Provincial Safety, addressed the Eastern Youth Crime Summit and explained why youths are particularly prone to crime and violence. They often were both offenders and victims of crime including “sexual violence, property related crimes and other serious violent crimes”.
Neer mentions poverty and lack of jobs as reasons for crime, but he also places emphasis on the fact that crime does not only exist among the poor and jobless. |
