Hallo,
Complete these sentences using some of the new words you have made.
1. I need to make an important phone call. Can I use your mobile phone please?
2. He tried to ring you from the plane, but he had to turn off his mobile phone.
3. I wanted to download some pictures, but it’s taking a long time.
- You need a faster Internet connection.
4. Dad, I want to go KEINE AHNUNG WAS HIER REIN SOLL but it’s not working. – That’s because I’m on the phone. I’ll be finished in a minute.
5. I’d rather chat to my neighbour over the SMS messages than chat with a stranger in a KEINE AHNUNG WAS HIER REIN SOLL .
6. Mum is very late. She said she’d pick me up in the car after work. Is it busy in town tonight? – I don’t know. Turn on the radio and listen to the traffic report.
7. I’d hate to have a alarm call. Imagine if you’d just got up and the other person could see you in your pyjamas.
c Write some more gapped sentences using other words from a. Ask a partner if they can fill in the gaps.
1. Maybe you have got a e-mail, so check your ____, please. (mailbox)
2. Have you seen that our neighbour have a new _____ around his house. (garden fence)

DANKE

4. vielleicht "on the internet"?
5. Vielleicht "public chatroom"?
1. Maybe you received an e-mail, so check your ____, please. (mailbox) received find ich schöner hier...
2. Have you seen that our neighbour has a new _____ around his house. (garden fence) He/she/it...
3. Have you experience in using a ____, that’s a machine that can send a piece of paper to another machine. Du meinst hier wohl "fax" oder "facsimile" in der Lücke, oder? // Den bestimmten Artikel find ich hier auch unpassend, da die "andere" Maschine ja nicht näher bestimmt ist
4. Do you know another word for “Notebook”? – Yes, you mean ____. (Laptop)
Hopefully it helps!
