Engl. Referat und unsichere Grammatik :( *help*

Hey ihr Lieben
Ich muss am 4.4.05 in meinem Englisch/Geschichts-Kurs ein schriftliches
Referat abgeben über Oskar Schindler und natürlich auf Englisch!
Leider bin ich in der Grammatik total unsicher... traurig

Wäre lieb wenn einer mal kurz darüber schauen könnte! Es ist auch nicht das ganze Referat sondern nur die Einleitung und die Frage, warum er das getan hat! Dankeeeee!

Introduction
Our paper is about the remarkable man Oscar Schindler.
A lot of peoples watched the movie “Schindler’s List” and think that they know all about Schindler’s life. But do they really know who he was and what he did?! Do they know his negatives sites? Before war he was well-known as swindler and he was an alcoholic. We think Oscar Schindler is one of the most impotant men in World War II. He outwitted Hitler and his follows, risked his life and gave “his Jews” a new chance to live. Schindler did not want to be the Alone-Rescuer. He always told that without help from their friends and all Jews he would never have created it. He is honoured everywhere by the Jews…

Why?
Why did he do it? Why did he spend so much money to rescue the Jews out of the death camps and why he risked his life?
The answers of the survivors are very different and often negative.
Some people maintain, he was an egoist and he only rescued the Jews to take advantage of the 1200 Jews and their gratitude. Others told he wrote the list to rescue himself and justify himself. They are not right but they are not wrong, too. At first Schindler was only in this party to make money. His behaviour was not seriously and he got fun to cheat out the SS. But above all this he hated it to see someone else murdered. His idiom was, when he saw two Jews-Girls murdered in front of his eyes. He realized that nobody will help if he does nothing.
Oscar Schindler is a person in contradictions but if Schindler really only thought about himself why he is not disappeared in Brünnlitz? Survivors told that he was in Brünnlitz at 12.05h although Russian came.

Ich hoffe, dass man ihn so halbwegs verstehen kann! Mir ist dies sehr wichtig, da dieses Referat als eine Klausur zählt. DANKE!

[Der Satz hat keinen Sinn, denn der heißt übersetzt: Er sagte immer, dass er ohne die Hilfe seiner Freunde und aller Juden es niemals erschaffen hätte. Was soll er erschaffen haben?] He is honoured BY THE JEWS EVERYWHERE.

They are not right but they are not wrong, EITHER. At first Schindler was only in this party to make money. His behaviour was not serious(>> KEIN ADVERB) and he HAD fun to cheat out the SS.(-> der Satz klingt schon bisserl komisch...Sein Benehmen war nicht ernst? Wolltest du das so sagen?) But above all he hated (KEIN "it") to see someone else BEING murdered. His idiom ?????was, when he saw two Jews-Girls BEING murdered in front of his eyes. [Was soll der Satz heißen? Sein Begriff war, als er...?] He realized that nobody WOULD help if he DID nothing.
Oscar Schindler WAS a person in contradictions but if Schindler really JUST thought about himself why DIDN'T HE DISAPPEAR in Brünnlitz? Survivors SAID that he was in Brünnlitz at 12.05h although THE RussianS came.

Da sind ein paar ziemliche Ungereimtheiten in deinem Text, wo ich nicht weiß, was du sagen wolltest. Du hast viele Vokabel nachgeschlagen, aber oft die falsche Bedeutung genommen.

Aso...der Satz stimmt auch nicht:

He didn't want to be the ALONE RESCUER.

besser:

he didn't intend to be regarded as the GREAT RESCUER.
