Könnte mir bitte jemand diesen Text korrigieren?
In der Aufgabe ging es darum Sätze zu verkürzen.
"Use participles to shorten this sentences or to connect two sentences"
1.Joe had set the table, lit the candles and opened abottle of wine. Then he waitedfor the bell to ring.
=Waiting for the bell to ring, Joe had set (?)the table, lit the candles and opened a bottle of wine.
2. The old tiger had become too dangerous. It had to be killed.
=Became too dangerous, it had to be killed.
3. All the passengers were on deck. They took photos and made video films of the icebergs.
=Being on deck, they took photos and made video films of tjhe icebergs.
Translate these sentences into German.
1.The wind being so terribly strong, the ferry could not leave the harbour.
=Dder Wind ist so stark, die Fähre konnte den Hafen nicht verlassen.
2. With so many new roads being built in this area, it is difficult to find one's way around.
=Mit so vielen neuen gebauten Straßen in diesem Gebiet, ist es schwer seinen weg zu finden.
hm...ich glaub ich hab ziemlich viele Fehler, aber es wäre sehr nett wenn mir das jemand korrigieren könnte..

Nöö du, so viel ist es gar nicht:
Having become to dangerous the old tiger had to be killed.
Bei den Übersetzungen...ja...sind schöne deutsche Sätze. Aber ob die im Sinne deines Lehrers richtig sind weiß man nie.....denn solche Übersetzungsaufgaben sind was für den A.... Man kann nunmal keine grammatischen Phänomene einer Sprache ins selbe grammatische Phänomen einer anderen übersetzen...geht nicht...völlig sinnlos...!!

Though the money had been hidden so cleverly, it was soon discovered by a plolice dog.
= Being hidden so cleverly, the money was soon discovered by a police dog.

aber da es ums paritciple geht ist es schon richtig was du gemacht hast Auch wenn kein vernünftiger Mensch das sagen würde und Ulis Version sehr viel besser ist...
