There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of books on McCarthyism in the U.S. listed on www.amazon.com or www.barnesandnoble.com. I would suppose that www.amazon.de also has some, wahrscheinlich in Deutsch.

Happy commie hunting. McCarthyism was a very bad time in the U.S. in which many innocent people were badly hurt. It is another moment of shame for Americans, who can be very close minded sometimes and suffer from mass hysteria about things. You know, of course, that 25% of all Americans claim some kind of German ancestry. (small joke - no offense) |
