habe leider wenig sprachgefühl...

woher soll ich wissen welche wendungen es da gibt?!

hier meine lösungen:

1. The role of the Supreme Court is to defend and to pass the laws
2. The President has promoted an appointment with Mexico that will increase trade.
3. If the US government is serious about reducing violence, it should ratify a rule to break drugs (soll heißen: es soll eine regel in kraft setzen um Drogen zu verringern oder zu verbieten)
4. Congress can override the President´s veto with 2/3 majority ( hier bin ich mir als einzigstes sicher)
5. There are checks and balances to prevent the branches of government from becoming too important or ratifying their appointments.
6.Congress has ratified a law which makes it illegal to use a mobile phone while driving.
7.More blacks votet for the Democratic ... (keine ahnung was da rein soll)at this election than ever before.


kann mir hier bitte jem weiterhelfen, der sprachgefühl hat und weß, welche verben man mit welchen nomen verbinden kann/darf!
