| Meine Frage: Wie könnte man folgenden Essay noch mehr kürzen und zusammenfassen? Immigration is a hotly discussed topic. Politicians, but also regular citizens would like to improve immigration in their country. In my opinion language is a very important part of immigration and integration. I think that nearly everybody would agree with me when I say that it is important to learn the language of the country where you immigrate to. We all know that it is not easy to learn a foreign language. Maybe it would be easier to learn a foreign language if you attend a language class. I would like to show some pros and cons of such a language class and of encouraging immigrants to learn the language of their new country. For immigrants it is essential to learn some phrases of the new language like?Hello?. But without professional education they will not even learn simple phrases like that. They need professional education to learn the new language step by step, because it is not possible to learn a new language in one or two months. Professional education can only be offered by professional teachers. Because of that language classes should be funded. An argument against encouraging immigrants to learn the language of their new country is that they will forget parts of their mother tongue and as a result parts of their culture. In conclusion, if immigrants attend language classes and are willing to learn the new language. They might forget parts of their mother tongue, because they might not use it in every-day-situations. In my opinion the new language is more important than their mother tongue and because of that immigrants should be encouraged to learn language of their new country.
