| Hallo ihr Lieben, ich steh mal wieder vor einer englischsprachigen Herausforderung und wäre super dankbar für eure Hilfe! Wir sollen von der Schule aus, die Kurzgeschichte "Ruthless" von William DeMille interpretieren. (Story findet man auch über google, kanns nur gerade nicht posten, da mein loggin mit "femaleplay" nicht funktioniert!) Dazu gehört natürlich auch ein Summary - und genau hierbei liegt das Problem. Ich fänds super, wenn ihr meine Summary korrigieren und mir Verbesserungsvorschläge aufweisen könntet. Und im Allgemeinen vllt. wo gerade meine Fehler liegen. Schon mal jetzt - herzlichen Dank ! Summary: The short story "Ruthless" is written by William DeMille and it's about karma and that the devil take the hindmost. The story is about a buisnessman called Judson Web who has a holiday home in the mountains and want to drive home. He is angry that some people seem to be stealing his whisky when he is not there. So he decides to put poison in it to kill whoever is stealing it. His wife doesn't approve his man's behaviour but her array of reasons don't stir him from his resolve. Therefor she want to let her neighbour in this secret and went away, with the excuse to say goodbye to them. In the intervening time before he leaves, he slip and fall and bump his head. And when he wakes up, his caretaker is pouring an whisky-glass into his mouth. |
