| Megan already got an answer on the GeschichteBoard, which she seemed quite happy with. Furthermore, I don't believe it is really necessary to read a whole book (it would give you lots of valuable information, but it is not necessary) - however thin it might be - about the French Revolution. French history is not uninteresting and since it is tightly connected to German history it is even more interesting, but since Megan "only wants the facts", she will be perfectly happy with some recollection of them by a normal enzyclopedia.
