Ansonsten heißt es wohl eher Mrs. Boakis als Ms. Boakis (die beiden sind ja auch verheiratet wie es scheint). Und du solltest entscheiden, ob du Mr./Mrs. mit oder ohne Punkt dahinter schreibst. Mit Punkt wäre es die amerikanische Variante, ansonsten die Britische (aber z.B. auch in Australien gängige)
MI	Verfasst am: 01. Jun 2008 15:41    Titel: Ja, das mit Finnland und dem Keyboard stimmt, das habe ich übersehen. Mit der Straße bin ich mir nicht wirklich sicher... Es kann sein, dass beides geht - aber wenn du z.B. einmal eingibts "live on 6th Avenue" vs. "live in 6th Avenue", da liegt ersteres deutlich vorn und auch leo.org erklärt, dass "to live on a street" gleich "in einer Straße leben" heißt. Aber einen wirklich "stichhaltigen Beleg" habe ich auch nicht gefunden... Gruß MI
Goldenhind	Verfasst am: 01. Jun 2008 12:54    Titel: Ich würde schon "in Brookside Avenue" schreiben. Aber der Artikel muss bei Straßennamen auf jeden Fall weg. Dafür steht der Artikel soweit ich weiß grundsätzlich bei Musikinstrumenten, also "he plays the keyboard". Ach so und "Finland" schreibt man auf Englisch nur mit einem n. MfG Goldenhind

Das meiste ist einigermaßen in Ordnung - die Interpunktion solltest du dir noch einmal anschauen. Die meisten Fehler gehen wohl auf das third-person-singular-s zurück . His dream is it to be a computer scientist and my opinion is that Lukas will realize his dream. Tom likes music very much and he plays keyboard. He looks like a rockstar and his dream is it to be one of them. I can´t say whether or not he will realize his dream, because I never saw him playing keyboard. Mischa, Igor and I didn´t like the English food Du sprichst vorher von den beiden anderen Schülern da - die sind aber bestimmt NICHT gemeint. Most of the days they cooked vegetarian food. On the whole the family was very friendly and it was great to live with them. "funny" heißt "komisch", ich glaube aber, du meinst eher "gut, toll, etc." Tipp: Ihr könntet den Text kopieren und dann verbessern. Danke für den Tipp, aber wozu haben wir denn die Zitatfunktion
