Where is a perfect home, maybe, in the USA, Australia, New Zealand? Everybody sometimes has a dream of discovering another country and of living there for the rest of his or her life. In 2006 _ Germans _ emigrated to several countries, in the first place was Switzerland, followed by the USA and Austria.
The first point, I think, is that emigrating is not the same as retreating, because, when you retreat, you can _ still live in the same country, but only in a special place, where nobody knows your identity. For example, when I was younger, of the age of fourteen, I thought about retreating. My dream was to move to another place, where nobody knows me, as I already told. Probably, everybody had this feeling _, because he or she wants to do your own things without your parents, playing computer games, drinking vodka and such. Furthermore, you can go_ to an unknown place, to a city or a country and do all what you want to do. So, when you retreat from society and all your friends, it is really a new step of your life. You have to leave all things and people you like, and you have to start somewhere a new and, for you maybe also, a better life. But you have to see it from two sides. There are not only the good ones. For instance, when you think of all these people, who live for years in the jungle, they are very isolated and have no contact to their friends and people they really need for conversation. The consequences are that they sometimes behave like animals, when they come back home. Admittedly, this is the worst thing that can happen. But is it necessary that clever people go somewhere else, where there is no pressure of society or, maybe, where there are no people, who can oblige them to something they will not do? |

The first point I think is that emigrating is not as similar as retreating, because when you retreat you can also still live in the same country, but only on a secret place, where nobody knows your identity. For example when I was younger, in the age of fourteen, I thought about retreating. My dream was to move to another place where nobody knows you, as I already told. Probably everybody had this feeling in the youth, because you want to do your own things without your parents. Furthermore you can go to an unknown place, city or country and do all things you want to do. So when you retreat from society and all your friends it is really a new step of your life. You have to leave all things and persons you like and you have to start somewhere a new and maybe you will have a better life, which you haven't known before. But you have to see it from two sides.
