| Hallo, wir haben gerade das Buch "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" gelesen und sollen jetzt ein Log-Buch dazu erstellen worunter auch die "Character Development" zu erfassen ist. Da hab ich jetzt folgendes zu geschrieben und wollte wissen ob das soweit in Ordnung ist (also; Fehler, Ausdruck etc.)?! Wär euch dankbar, wenn ich in kürze ein "Feedback" bekommen würde:-) Charlie At the beginning of the novel Charlie stayes at home and reads books twice, which shows that he has got very much time or still hasn´t friends to go out with or an other point to mention is that he maybe doesn´t like to go out. He also kinds of accept his sister. One firstly get an impression of a teenager, who gets straight A´s, who doesn´t get to know the other side of life and who also hasn´t the courage to do something forbidden. The turning point was when he met Patrick and Sam, whom he falls in love with. From now on Sam, Patrick and Charlie become friends. He starts to go to parties and not only starts smoking, but also taking drugs. He lies to his parents, what he didn´t do before. In the course of the novel Charlie also gets a better relationship with his sister. Bill At the beginning of the novel, Bill, the english advanced teacher, who has begun his first year of teaching, doesn´t show feelings towards his pupils. He seems to be cold-blooded. One can notice, that he undergoes a character development, when he asks Charlie to call him “Bill”. In the course of the novel Bill starts to show feelings. He also wants to promote his students especially Charlie, whom he not only gives books to read and movies, but also gives Charlie an order to write an essay about these books or movies. One can deduce by this fact, that on the one hand he acts egoistic, because if his student will get a better grade, Bill would be able to stand in a good position as a teacher and on the other hand he loves his students much and wants only the best for his pupils.
