Titel: Re: Zusammenfassung durchlesen
When Dr.Sheppard
arrives at
home from seeing his patients, Caroline
tells him
that Geoffrey Raymond was there. (das er da war oder das er da ist? wenn er da war würde ich has been there schreiben, wenn er da ist, dann is there)
He (wer ist damit gemeint, dr. sheppard oder raymond?) wanted to
talk to
M.Poirot.
Caroline wants her brother to visit M.Poirot to find out why M.Raymond wanted to talk to him.
However, Dr.Sheppard explains that he won't go because curiosity isn't his besetting sin. Therefore Caroline asks him to bring M.Poirot a pot of jam. Dr.Sheppard agrees because he wanted to understand the enigma of the boots.
At M.Poirot's
, Dr.Sheppard tells X (wem erzählt er das?) about the interview with Mrs.Ackroyd and the one with Miss Russel.
(reports wird er in nachrichten und Zeitungen genutzt, ansonsten würde ich das nicht verwenden)
During this conversation Geoffrey Raymond appears.
He wants to make a confession in the presence of Dr.Sheppard.
He explains (
to tell kann nie alleine stehen, immer to tell somebody something!
) that he was in debt and that that
the/a legacy
(das Legat ?/ das Erbe...ergibt irgendwie kein sinn) puts him on his feet again (mhh ich kenn den ausdruck put so on one's feet again nicht, aber mag richtig sein) with a little
money to spare
.

The murder of Roger Ackroyd" schreiben. Wäre nett wenn ihr sie mal durchlesen würdet und evt. schaut ob dort grammatikalische Fehler und so drin sind.
After Dr.Sheppard returned home from seeing his patients, Caroline reports him that Geoffrey Raymond was there. He wanted to speak with M.Poirot. Now Caroline would like that her brother goes to visit M.Poirot to find out about the matter M.Raymond wanted to speak him. However, Dr.Sheppard explains that he won't go because curiosity isn't his besetting sin. Therefore Caroline asks him to bring M.Poirot a pot of jam. Dr.Sheppard agrees because he wanted to understand the enigma of the boots.
At M.Poirot's home, Dr.Sheppard reports on the interview with Mrs.Ackroyd and on the one with Miss Russel. During this conversation Geoffrey Raymond appears. He wants to make a confession in the presence of Dr.Sheppard. He tells that he was in debt and that that legacy puts him on his feet again with a little to spare. But he also explains that he has a watertight alibi and nothing to fear. After he has gone, M.Poirot an Dr.Sheppard consider that there are many people benefit by Mr.Ackroyd's death and that the blackmailer of Mrs.Ferrars isn't necessarily the murderer of Mr. Ackroyd, because Parker may have abstracted the letter unnoticed by Dr.Sheppard.
Then M.Poirot asks Dr.Sheppard to accompany him to Fernly, where he wants to try an experiment with Parker. There he reconstructs some of Parker's actions on that night.
After this replay, M. Poirot means, that he now knows something he wanted to know.
