[quote="Cathyyyyyyyy :*"]Erstmal könnte es auch sein, dass in ihrer Tasche ne schlange is :/ "hissing noise" bedeutet ja bekanntlich "zischendes Geräusch" ;D when i was walking down bangalaydrive in port macquarie one afternoon last summer, i was very excited because i was looking forward to going to the beautiful lighthouse and lovely sandy beach with my cousine milly. i was on holiday on the east coast of australia for the first time and my ideas were centred on adventure. suddenly i heard a hissing noise very close to me. although i looked around immediately, i couldn't see anything. i knew my cousine was eager for me to arrive so that we could go and have fun, so, like a nice girl who wants to be on time. i decided to ignore the noise and continue my walk to millys house. today i know that i should have been much more careful i could have avoided great danger if i had not just looked around but also checked my handbag. better safe than sorry should have been my motto. well, i just didn't think about it at the time and i was new to australia... Titel: Englisch Story
Meine Frage:
Hallo,
ich habe diese Englischen Anfang einer Geschichte.
when i was walking down bangalaydrive in port macquarie one afternoon last summer, i was very excited because i was looking forward to going to the beautiful lighthouse and lovely sandy beach with my cousine milly. i was on holiday on the east coast of australia for the first time and my ideas were centred on adventure. suddenly i heard a hissing noise very close to me. although i looked around immediately, i couldn't see anything. i knew my cousine was eager for me to arrive so that we could go and have fun, so, like a nice girl who wants to be on time. i decided to ignore the noise and continue my walk to millys house. today i know that i should have been much more careful i could have avoided great danger if i had not just looked around but also checked my handbag. better safe than sorry should have been my motto. well, i just didn't think about it at the time and i was new to australia...
