Hallo,

ich wäre sehr froh wenn mir der ein oder andere meinen Comment mal bewerten könnte! wo liegen die Stärken und wo die Schwächen? Vielleicht hat sogar jemand die Möglichkeit, dass in einer Note auszudrücken. Vielen Dank schon mal im Vorraus!

Thema: Everybody should be registered in a genetic databank, i.e. his or her genetic fingerprint should be available to the police. Would you agree to such a demand?

It ist not easy to decide wheather everybody should be registered in a genetic databank. First of all there is the fact that the police can catch a potential murder or a criminal more faster. If they find a genetic fingerprint at the scene of the crime, they can compare the information with their database and can find the criminal faster.
On the other hand is the point that it is very expensive to store so many information for millions of people. You need thousands of hard disks and that is very cost-intensive. We should also not forget that your personal rights get hurt, if the polive or a civil servant can look up your genetic codes. For example they get the information about your diseases.
To sum it all up I would say that it is not a good idea to save genetic datas in a database, because the recent methods to solve crimes is very successful!

und auch dieses Beispiel, was ich im Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary gefunden hab, unterstützt meine Vermutung:

Also ich denke schon das man On the other hand auch alleine stehen lassen kann, dagegen muss nach einem on the one hand auch ein on the other hand folgen hätte ich gesagt. Vielleicht kann man ja das on the other hand mit however noch ergänzen?! Wärst du dann damit einverstanden??? smile

Ach ja und zusätzlich zu einem Comment sollen wir noch eine Statistik oder auch ein Foto, Karikatur oder ähnliches beschreiben. habt ihr hierzu vielleicht noch ein paar hilfreiche tipps?

Gerade bei statistiken sollte es doch ein paar Anhaltspunkte geben oder?
