Sollte einen Text über Fahrenheit 9/11 und einen Vergleich zu Wag the dog schreiben.

Hello,
Today I want to talk about the film “ Fahrenheit 9/11 ” from Michael Moore and later I am going to compare it with the film “ Wag the Dog “ from Larry Levison, which we have saw a few weeks ago.

The film “ Fahrenheit 9/11 “ appears like a documentary and is about the presidential election of George W. Bush and about the time during his administration as U.S. president.

There are a lot of criticisms of his administration on the one hand from Michael Moore and on the other hand from the several U.S. citizens. They all complain about the politically wrong decisions and injustice, which have happened after Bush became president.

The film also shows the day on 9/11/2001, the war in Iraq, the hostage (Geiselaffäre) and war-pleased (Kriegsgefangene).

I can not judge somebody like Michael Moore does. He really knows how to cut the scenes together so that an extremely accusing affect develops.

For example, Bush, after he received the information from the attacks of the terrorist. He was sitting 7 minutes in the school-class and was reading from a book.
I can not judge him for his conduct (Verhalten). Then what should he have done in this moment? Would it help, if he leaves the place in panic and hurry? I don’t think so.

Other things, like the corrupted elections and the deletion(Rausdrängung) of the Afro-American voters or rather/respectively the delegates in the senate are absolutely accuse worthy (anklagewürdig) and actually for me an unbelievable fraud (Betrug)

Furthermore, it is very strange why a name was censored in the documentary of the National Guard, because of the security regulation.
Maybe to keep the relationship between the Bin Laden Family and George W. Bush in secret?
But the documents were already made public in the year 2000.
Therefore it was very easy for Michael Moore to get an uncensored version.

It is simply clear, that curios things have happened in the U.S. policy. And I would say that Michael Moore finally had shown it in a clever way.

Due to this opinion there are a parallel to the film “ Wag the Dog “ from Larry Levison.
The film is also about the structure how the media can influence the people and manipulate the people’s mind like Michael Moore does it in his film.
More or less, the film had opened our eyes and shows an other site of the presidency from Bush differently from the news on TV.

In conclude the film “ Fahrenheit 9/11 “ is certainly very entertaining and actually very close to the reality.
Michael Moore’s voice was replaced into the mouth of the president and other people. So there are a lot of thoughts they perhaps don’t think or say. But this effect makes the film more amusing and funny.
In have to say that Michael Moore has done a good job.
