Summary of the short story "Thank You , M´am"

The short story "Thank You , M´am" by Langston Hughes is about a boy who try to steal a purse to get money for some new shoes.

a boy called roger try to steal a purse . The owner of the purse is a woman called Mrs Luella Bates Washington Jones.
By trying to steal the purse he loose his balance and fell on his back . The woman pick the boy up and held him.
After she talked with him she bring him to her home. There he should wash his face.
After washing his face the woman talk about her past. The woman don´t ask him anything about where he lived or anything else.
At the end when they finish eating she give him ten dollars to buy new shoes and let him go. The boy saw her never again.

bin mir umsicher mit den zeiten , wusste nicht genau ob ich ,weil die geschichte im simple past ist das summary auch im simple past schreiben muss ich habs jetzt im präsens geschrieben teilweise. wäre nett wenn jmd sagen könnte ob 1.) das summary gut + fehlerfrei ist und 2.) wenn ein text im simple past ist wie man das summary dann schreibt

Present Tense ist schon richtig, aber dann musst du das auch durchgehend mchen. Außerdem hast du ständig die "He She It" Regel missachtet...
