Where have you been in your holidays?

The holidays are over for most of the pupils in germany.
the students still have a few weeks.

i just wanted to know what you did this summer?!

Have you been to a language travel to US or UK?
Did you visit a place that you have never seen before?
tell us your experiences.

I have been to Helsinki in June and it was a great place to stay, so close to the sea and still a lot of rocks in the city.
In August I went to Norway for the fifth time and visited cities such as Oslo and Lillehammer. I was very lucky to have a chance to see a skijumping event in Lillehammer.
All in all it was a great nordic summer and I hope to experience more of it in the future...

I haven't been anywhere special but as Thomas said, the year is not over yet. I really hope I can efford it to go skiing this winter :-)

Oh, I had to laugh a lot, when reading this article...
I am on holiday at the moment - not the summer holidays, but the two weeks we get in autumn. People in Northrhine-Westfalia had seven weeks of school already Big Laugh

@ Topic: I was in Oberstdorf again (I have already been there once), so "just" within Germany. We (that means my family and I) went hiking there - as far as the weather allowed that - and my brother went cycling.

maybe you had to laugh cos I am still in my summer holidays...but students in Germany are always different...

I still have a week of holidays but for me they just started at the beginning of August.

I will go to Hamburg next week and hope the weather will be fine.
Otherwise I just plan to go on winter holiday over new year's eve.

Well, of course it is a bit strange, if people already start in June and thus take up school again in August, when other people just start their holidays, as it's the case for you.

I´m going to go to Tunesien
It´s very hot there!!!
Next to the Hotel is a very big pool and next to the pool is the sea!!!

There is a sandy beach(Sandstrand Quelle:PONS-Wörterbuch)
