Hallo,
I've got a pen-pal in Bakersfield. She said it's near Los Angeles. Does somebody know how far it is from Bakersfield to L.A.?
I'd be pleased if somebody knows it.

for driving directions or distances yahoo or msn- sites are pretty good. e.g.:

Yahoo says Bakersfield - LA is 112 miles.

But LA is not realy nice, only the Universal Studios, the Walk of fame and the Hollywood-sgin are worth a visit.
The beaches might be nice, too. As I were there it was raining all the day and it was cold - so no beaches smile

If you plan to go to California, San Diego, San Francisco or one of the great National Parks would be a better choice in my opinion.

Yes I thought LA ould be much nicer... San Fernando Valley was great b I have relatives there so it's much better... Ilove San Francisco and the nationalparcs they're themost beautiful places there... Bakersfield isn't far away I went there... nice city
