Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi Goldberg is born at the 13th of November 1955 as Caryn Elaine Johnson in New York. She began acting with 8 years with the Hudson Guild Theatre and later she plays in some acts with the Helena Rubinstein Children’s Theatre.

1994 is Whoopi the first woman (and first coloured woman, too) as hostess for the Oscar award.
1992 she gets also famous as author by the book Alice in wonderworld and between she graduates at the university in literary. Now the kids are her greatest fans.
Years later she gives her voice some cartoon characters like Pinocchio 3000 and Racing Stripes.
Whoopi is for the second time and 1986 she remarries the cameraman David Caless. But two years later they are divorced.
Till 2002 you can see Whoopi at 149 films. Altogether she was nominated at many times for the Oscar, the Daytime-Emmy, the Golden Globe etc., but all in all she wins 1 Oscar, 1 Daytime-Emmy, 2 Golden Globes and 3 Viewer-Awards and many more prizes.
