Meine Frage: Ich bin in der neunten Klasse und habe bald ein Referat. Ich wäre glücklich wenn mir schnell geantwortet wird. Hier ist der Text: Hello and welcome to my presentation about Berlin and the sights of Berlin.
First I'm talking about Berlin:
-Berlin is the capital of Germany
-In Berlin live nearly 3'500'000 people
-Berlin is nearly 770 km from us with car away
-Berlin is 891 km² big
-Berlin is in 12 areas seperated for example "Spandau", "Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf", "Berlin Mitte" and "Friedrichshain Kreuzberg" an in 96 districts
Now I will tell you about the sights of Berlin. Berlin have a plenty of sights, but I'm talking about five sights.
Do you know some sights?
First I'm talking about the "Alexanderplatz"
The "Alexanderplatz" is in the midle of Berlin. The berlin people say Alex to the "Alexanderplatz".
On the "Alexanderplatz" are the worldtimeclock and the television tower.
Worldtimeclock
Erich John styled it and Hans Joachim Kunsch carried out it. It is 10m high and was built in 1969 in the interest of the socialist reorganisation of the "Alexanderplatz". On a columm turn a cylinder. It is in 24 segments seperated. The segments are countris and shows the importent time zones. Above the cylinder shows a lot of metall circles the orbits of the planets.
Televisison tower
It is with 368 m the highest building in Germany. The DDR needed a television tower who can sended about all of the DDR. It started up at the 3 Oktober 1969. In 203m is a platform. There can you see by good weather 40 km far. In 207m is a restaurant with the name "Telecafe". The television tower have 2 high speed lifts and 986 steps.
On the "Alexanderplatz" is the Neptunbrunnen, too. Near the "Alexanderplatz" is the shopping centre "Alexa".
Now I will speack about the "Brandenburger Tor".
It was until 1986 a symbol of the divided city. Today is it a national symbol for unity therefore one of the famost emblem that city. The "Brandenburger Tor" was built in 1788 to 1791 according the plans from Carl Gotthard. The Quadriga, a sculpture representing the Goddness of Victory, wich can be spotted from a long distance was erected on the Gate in 1793. At the 22. December 1989 was the "Brandenburger Tor" opened, next to the second world war. At the 3. Oktober 2002 was the "Brandeburger Tor" opened next to two years restauration.
Siegesäule
The victory columm was built in 1873 to the memory for the german/prussian victory verses Danmark, France and Austria. At the time it was standing ahead the "Reichstagsgebäude". But today it is standing in the midle of a big traffic circle in the "Tiergarten.
That was my presntation. Thank you for listening. Do you have any questions?
