| Meine Frage: Hi, meine Eltern mussten für mein Austauschjahr in den USA einen sogenannten Elternbrief schreiben. Dieser Brief richtet sich and die zukünftige Gastfamilie.  Meine Eltern haben sich große mühe gegeben und es glaube ich auch gut hinbekommen. Trotzdem haben sie noch 1-2 kleine Fehler denke ich. Könnte einer so lieb sein un diesen Text korrigieren?  ))Wär super nett! VIELEN DANK! hier der text: Dear host family, first of all we would like to thank you so much for considering of taking our son Noah in your family! We know about the responsibility, tolerance and selflessness you show in this way of behaviour. Without your attitude there would have been no possibility for our son to make his biggest dream come true. Noah was born in 1998 and grew up in a small town called ?Großbeeren? a little bit outside of Germany?s capital Berlin. He always enjoyed playing outside with his friends and family in the nature. Noah got a half sister wich is 21 Years old and living about 4 hours away from Berlin to work in ?Bremen?. They don?t see each other a lot because she was living in ?Bremen? most of her time, but they have a great relationship and are always looking forward to see each other. From Birth on, he grew up with a dog (boxer). He loved his dog and he alway enjoyed to go out with him and play with him. Because of the separation of his Parents in 2002, Noah is now living one week at his Mom?s and one week at his Dad?s. It?s a great solution and Noah is getting good along with it. Despite the separation we are still celebrating holidays and his birthday for example together. So Noah spend the most time of his childhood in the small town outside of berlin. Then with the age of 14 we moved to Berlin. Noah?s Mom is 45 Years old and she is working as a Personal Trainer and owns her own gym in Berlin. His Dad is 51 Years old and worked his whole life in Law Enforcement. He was the team leader of a special Unit of the Police. He got retired in 2004. Today he is a soccer coach and is running his own online Business. In the raising of Noah we placed a great value on Honesty, Respect, Education, Humour, Social skills and Openness. Noah?s position in our family is one of having equal rights and duties - and we know he is able to use them in a responsible way. Noah is very open to the world and he always wants to discover new things and make new experiences. He is very helpful, friendly and he has a lot of humour. Noah likes all kind of sports. Until he was 14 years old he played soccer. Now he?s doing a lot of sport like Basketbal, Soccer and Football and he is going to the gym 3-4 times a week where he is doing CrossFit. By the way there will be no problems with food as long as you do not serve him fish dishes. We will miss him as much as parents can miss their beloved son - but we would never restrain him in his development and we really want him to live his dream. It is one of his dreams to go to the United States for a while now an live together with people over there who have his own spirit of democracy and freedom. Noah really love the United States. He?s been there a few times now and every time he comes back he love this country even more. After his exchange year he wants to come back to Germany finish his school and then he wants to make one of his dreams come true, to study in college in the USA. We hope we could give you a little bit more Information of ours and especially Noah?s Life and could bring Noah closer to you. We think there is no doubt that you are going to have a great and unique time with Noah. Again we would like to thank you for giving Noah that great opportunity.
