| Hallo Englishboarder, ich verzweifle hier und brauche wirklich mal eure Hilfe, es geht um die Grammatik in den oben genannten Bereichen. Ich habe keine Ahnung wann man was benutzt vor allem wie, ich habe mich an ein paar Übungsaufgaben versucht und wäre wirklich dankbar wenn Ihr die mit mir durchgehen könntet und auch Erklärungen zu den Fällen geben könnt, meines Wissenstandes her ist "I'd rather" und "I'd sooner" doch genau das gleiche ? Meine Lösunge stehen in Klammern. You have to use I wish or If only and the first person. The first one has been done for you as an example. Example: He doesn’t know anyone. I wish I knew someone. 1.He’s shy. ( I wish I wouldn't be so shy) 2.He’s sorry he came to the party. () 3.He feels nervous. ( I wish I wouldn't be so nervous) 4.He’s sorry he didn’t stay at home. () 5.He’s sorry he’s put on a suit () 6.He doesn’t have much self-confidence. () 7.He can’t dance. ( I wish I could Dance) Mir ist wirklich nicht klar was mit dem If only gemeint ist, dass sind die Partien bei denen ich mir sicher war was ich zu benutzen habe. Look at the following ideas and rewrite each of them beginning with the phrase I’d rather or I’d sooner. Example: I don’t want anyone else to know. I’d rather no one else knew. 1.Please don’t say anything to anyone. (I'd rather you said anything to anyone) 2.Think about it carefully.( I'd sooner you thought carefully about it) 3.Please be honest and tell me. ( I'd rather you were hones and told me.) 4.Do what you think is right. (I'd sooner you did what you thought is right) 5.Please don’t phone me at work.( I'd rather you didn't phone me at work) Also hier habe ich einfach mal beides abwechselnd genommen, da es laut meinem Wissenstand her ja das gleiche ist....
