| Hallo ich muss für meine FH Bewerbung einen "Letter of Motivation" schreiben und würde mich freuen, wenn ihn jemand korrekturlesen würde. =) Freue mich natürlich über jeden Tipp zur Verbesserung (grammatikalisch sowie inhaltlich) =) Danke im Voraus. Da die FH nur noch Online Bewerbungen aktzeptiert, wollte ich den Letter of Motivation nicht in Briefform schreiben. Ausserdem gibt es keine Vorgaben fürs Layout. My name is Isabella Zangl and I want to apply for a place to study Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. I divided this letter of motivation into four sections: personal information, self-motivation and self-assessment, expectations of the Bachelor programme and why FH Krems?. Personal Information:I live in XXXX, Austria and was born on 26/01/1992. In May 2011 I passed my Matura at the Higher School for Tourism in Krems/Donau. From December 2011 to the end of April 2012 I work as an Au-Pair in France to improve my French skills. Self-motivation and Self-assessment: I had a keen interest in natural sciences since elementary school. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong secondary school. But even in the Higher School for Tourism my favourite subject was Biology. My main interest is about the structure of human cells and how they react to different substances and influences. Especially researches of brain diseases and their consequences.(hätte hier gerne: damit verbundene Folgeerkrankungen, wusste jedoch nicht wie ich das schreiben sollte) Moreover, I am interested in how I can develop new medicine for better and more effective treatments. I assess myself as an exact person with good language skills. I have a tremendous grasp of things and I see myself as somebody who works intently. Although, I am a good team player I don’t mind if I have to complete a project on my own. Expectations of the Bachelor programme: I expect of the Bachelor programme to give me advanced knowledge of physical and chemical processes as well as practical training in laboratory. After completing the study I should have all essential skills to work independently in the pharmaceutical industry or in medical research institute. Furthermore, I want to acquire skills about how to proof the quality of new medicines. Besides, I hope for making good connections during my education at your Fachhochschule to have good career chances afterwards. Why FH Krems?: My main reason for choosing FH Krems is the well thought-out structure of the bachelor programme. Besides, FH Krems offers me a well balanced education in the theory of biotechnology as well as in the practical sector. No less important is the fact that you guarantee me no crowded lecture halls and education in small groups. Additionally, FH Krems, which is situated in the UNESCO world heritage of Wachau, has the perfect environment to find the ideal balance between my study and my leisure time. Moreover, my home is only 20 km away and therefore I spare myself to search for an accommodation. I hope I could give you a first impression of myself and I am looking forward to answer further questions at your entrance examination. |
