| Ich habe mir dazu mal ein paar gedanken gemacht. würde mich freuen, wenn ich zusätzliche Informationen dazu und Antworten dazu bekommen könnte: Miriam: living in 2 worlds: Muslim outfit (moves very elegantly, in control of herself),Western Dress (in secure, ashmed as soon as she enters the Muslim world, independent) Miriam comes back home from a school excursion and meets her future parents-in-law in front of her family's house. The problem is that she doesn't wear the traditional Pakistani dress, the Punjabi, but her normal, everyday clothes: a pair of tight jeans, a short vest and a leather jacket. Her parents in-laws are shocked about Miriam's appearance because of religious reasons and their culture. In her opinion her outfit only consists of clothes and can't change her personality. But when she puts on her traditional dress, she feels like another person, as if she really had two different personalities. |

| Hallo, an alle Mitglieder. Ich habe den Text A Pair of Jeans von Qaisra Shahraz vorliegen. Ich möchte Stichpunktartig die beiden Seiten Miriams kurz analysieren. Also als: college girl und als traditional girl Ich finde dazu einfach nichts im Text. Also zweites würde ich gerne ein paar ideen sammeln, wenn man sich vorstellt, dass angenommen Miriam mit einem Guten Freund aus der Schule über ihre Probleme redet. Wie könnte das ablaufen.
