Hallo ihr,
ich bitte um eine grobe Korrektur meines Textes zum Yosemite Nationalpark, wichtig ist der Satzbau, bzw. ob die Sprache, ob hier Korrektheit herrscht.

Danke

The Yosemite Nationalpark lies in the middle of America, exactly in the heart of California. The Nationalpark is almost as large as Luxemburg. The rainfall is a little bit greater than we have in Germany. The most of the rain falls in winter. The park is structured in three areas with different features.
The Yosemite Valley is the most important area, the most of the visitors go to there.
The Tuolumne Meadows is in the east and it is the highest of this three areas.
The Wawona is in the south-west of the Nationalpark and there you can find old settlements from pioneer-times.
You can find in the Nationalpark a lot of oaks, maples or conifers like pines or ceaders. One special tree is the sequoia, which is the king of the trees. Black bears, deers, foxes, bunnys, squirrels or birds like golden eagles or humming birds can you find there, too. The Cathedral Rocks are two nice rocks which looks like two steeples. Other important rocks are the Half Dome or the El Capitan. Two important rivers are there, too. The Tuolumne River and the Merced River. The glaciers in the Nationalpark are just in shadows and really small. They get smaller because of the climate warming.
The Park got his name during a war because of the gold deposits. In the meantime a man called the area Yosemite, because at that time Yosemite was a modification of a grizzly bear and at this time many grizzly bears lived there. The area became the award as Nationalpark for 120 years. The west of America was discovered by settler and hunter from the east. When gold was discovered in the area of the park the first white people went to there. The Miwoks were the first who lived there. They lived by hunting and collecting. 26 years ago the Nationalpark was declared as an UNESCO World heritage – natural site, because of the impressed landscape and the different arts of plants and animals.
The most important sights are the El Capitan with his vertical wall, the highest mountain the Mt. Lyell and the highest and nicest waterfalls, the Yosemite falls.
What can you do there?
You can do a lot of activities like walking, skiing, climbing, fishing or doing bus tours. In winter you can go skiing in the Badger Pass area. The most important climbing area is the El Capitan, there you can climb up the 1000 metre high wall in three or four days. You can walk in the whole park, you can do short or long walks. There are more than thousand kilometer for walking for you. All year more than three million tourists visit the park and I doesn´t matter in which time of the year.
