China, In the final of the world football championchip the teams from Germany and Brazil played on 30.09.2007 at 8p.m. The match was played in the Shanghei footballstage in China. The German women national team won the match with 2:0. The German players an their coach Silvla Neid were really happy. They won the cup after 2003 once more. After a slow start Marta, the best player of Brazil, had her first chance in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Kerstin Garefrekes missed the goal only briefly. The teams went with a 0:0 in the half time break. Only 6 minutes after beginning of th 2-nd half Brigit Pinz met the goal for the Germans. Only 7 minutes later Annika Krahn had a chance, but she doesn't met the goal. 10 Minutes before end Marta had the biggest chance for Brazil, only Nadina Angerer, the German goalkeeper saved the ball. In the 86th minute Simone Laudehr shot the 2:0 for the Germans. At the end the Germans were the better team and won the cup with a result of 2:0 Danke! Sven |
