Also prinzipiell ist der Text nicht so schlecht. Was mir nicht gefällt ist dass du die ganze Zeit das Wort "one" verwendest,
was ich eigentlich so noch nie gelesen oder gehört habe. Ich würde lieber "you" oder "somebody" verwenden, das hört sich in meinen Ohren besser an.

Hallo! Hoffentlich kann mir in diesem Forum jemand weiterhelfen! Bin mittlerweile echt verzweifelt! Ich soll bis Mitte nächster Woche mein 5-seitiges! application essay in englischer Sprache abgeben. Leider ist mein Englisch nicht so berauschend und es soll immerhin als Basis zum Unieintritt dienen. Ich weiß, dass es verdammt viel ist, aber mein Text braucht dringend einen Feinschliff! Hab hier nur die Antwort der Frage "Which competences and qualities do you consider necessary if one wishes to undertake part-time studies" reingestellt. Vielleicht wäre aber irgendwer so nett und könnte sich den ganzen Text durchlesen??!! Würd mich echt über eine Antwort freuen!!!

Of course it is not easy to undertake part-time studies but I never thought of the possibility to quit my job. I have worked for almost 10 years and love it. This daily routine, my friends and colleagues, the chance to help and support them day for day is very important for me.
In general it is to say that one should have much stamina to study such a long time and to abandon most of ones free time and of course much money. The support of good friends and colleagues is also very important. There definitely comes the time when everything is too much and maybe a grade not as good as expected or a problem in ones personal respectively vocational life. At this point one should have the power and energy to go on and fight. Although it is not always easy to sit at home and learn when ones friends lying on the lake or jaunting. A big thing one have to learn, especially in this moments, is a good time management. It is impossible to sit at home alone and study for the time of three to five years. One have to meet friends and family as well as go on vacation. So it is necessary to manage ones time, do not delay a homework or project for the last day and form learning groups with other students. That also means self discipline. So it is possible to relax, have fun and socialize although one has an 80-hours workweek. One should also be equipped with patience and confidence to cope with this immense workload but still the most important thing is motivation. One has to know what to do and why. It is easier to go on if one know for what he/she is fighting for as well as to memorize the subject matters.
