Entschuldigung leute, aber mein account wurde gelöscht, nun stelle ich das Gedicht noch mal rein.. unsere letzte klausur war über das thema "urban poetry".. hier die lösungen zu Gareth Owen, out in the city: 1.(Einleitung): characters seem to be in a street, at an open-air market and on a bus in london; Hary sing a greeting to two other people; Billy is seling meat and fishh; maltese tony smokes and watchs the amusement arcade; impression conveyed is of a lively street scenario with the focus on various people doing sth. different; -->colourful picture 2.(analyse): divided in stanzas; irregularmetric pattern; irregular rhyme; tone is light- hearted, personal and enthusiasticc. ll.30-33: description of the impression the speaker perceives on the street to point out the multifaceted character of city life ll.9-12: narration in which an incident recounted to convey the impresion that the speaker is directly talking to the reader and to make the scene appeare more lively ll.22-29: direct speech to make the city scenario appear more immediate and vived ll.1-8: personal adres (you) to make the reader feel directly involveed in the scene l.30: apeal to sense of vision to add an additional dimension to the reader's perception ll.6,21,3: apeal to sense hearing to reflect a perception of playing music ll.7,35: appeal to sense of smell ll.5,7: paralelism to emphasize the efect the musical feeling has on a person ll.38,41: repetition to point out various preferences peolpe could have and finaly to stress the speaker's enthusiasm for the city l.8: simile to highlight the enormity of the effect the city rhythm has on the body 3 (creative writing): hier war eine Wahlaufgabe, ich habe a) gewählt, da sollte man die vorteile und nachteile von life in big city aufschreiben: vorteile: variety possibilities: shopping, cultural events. theatres etc.; some relaxtion and fresh air;vived atmosphere nachteile: degree of pollution, noise, hectic close contact |
