Let‘s start with the History: The construction work began in 1959. Jorn Utzon was the architect: He won the competiton for building the opera house. In 14 years they built the house. It cost 102 millions. 1966 Jorn got out of the building work because the government said he needed too much time and money. A group of young architects overtook this poject and finished their work on October, the 20th, {b]when[/b] queen elizabehth II initiated the building . Now i want to say something about the features of the building. It is 183meters long and 118 meters wide.And it‘s got a height of 67 meters.It weighs 160.000 tons My third subtopic is the Interior Design : In the Opera House there are about 100 rooms: Now i list some of them for example the concert hall, opera theatre, drama theatre, Playhouse and the Studio Theatre, Also there are many bars and restaurants Now i come to my last sub theme. I chose this topic because i like the architecture opf the building. In my opinion it looks like a sailing ship. Also i like the lifestyle of the australian inhabitans. Ich hab jetzt nur grobe sprachliche Fehler korrgiert, stilistisch ist da noch einiges im Argen...
