Danke für den Tipp, hab das jetzt mal anhand meines Langescheidt Buches überprüft. Man lernt nie aus......

Aber während der Englischarbeiten dürfen wir leider kein Wörterbuch benutzten und dann wirds leider schwierig....

Meine Verbesserungsvorschläge:

16: "to prevent s.o. from"
17: "to believe in s.th."
20: auf jmd. schießen heißt "to fire on/at s.o."
21: jemanden jemanden vorstellen heißt "to introduce s.o. to s.o."
24: "to persist on"
25: "to shrink from doing s.th."
26. "to pay hedd to s.o."
29. "in the long run"
31. "to make for s.th."
34. "to feel tired of s.th."
35. "independent of s.th."

Ich hab das jetzt mal überprüft, weil ich da selber noch was bei lernen konnte, aber eigentlich kannst du so etwas in einem vernünftigen Wörterbuch auch selber nachschlagen Augenzwinkern

Ich habe eine Arbeitsblatt erhalten, auf dem wir die Präpositionen einsetzen sollen. Das habe ich getan, weiß aber nicht, ob sie richtig sind.
Ich wäre sehr dankbar, wenn sich das mal ein Experte ansehen könnte und mir die sicher vorhandenen Fehler verbessern könnte. Danke schonmal

Put in the correct prepositions:
1 The Red Indian died of hunger.
2 The actor boasts of his great talent.
3 He succeeded in cooking the meal perfectly.
4 The children hid behind the old man.
5 He struggled for his life because he couldn't swim.
6 The customer sent off the waiter.
7 He wrote: l want to apply for this job.

Bei zwei Sätzen weiß ich nicht, welche Prep. es ist.
