Zitat:
A pump was installed from one of these rivers to bring water to people who live in villages that are uphill also.
Das "also" finde ich hier vom Klang her nicht ganz so passend, ich würde es eher durch "as well" ersetzen.
Zitat:
Four water storage tanks help to catch the rain which runs off from (the) roofs.
Die Konstruktion mit "runs off from" ist so meines Erachtens nicht korrekt, ich würde so etwas wie "to flow down" benutzen.

the following parts:
Emergency Relief
Community Development
Human Rights, Peace-building
and Public Engagement.
In the Kimathi area they help to clean and rehabilitate springs. In Kiwakaria,
there is a muddied and polluted river
. The water technician
helps to build (he she it das s muss mit!)
a system, which helps to filter the water and bring it to one hundred families.
They laid water pipes from two springs to support a lot of households.

They also installed draw pipes to fill containers
more easily
and timesaving.

are also used as a sort of sign to educate and interest other villages.
The support of PWRDF has helped to reduce the average time
needed
to get water from about 3 hours to 45 minutes.
Villages, which have now a permanent source of water, begin to build tree nurseries and plant special forms of grass. They use the grass
as food for cattle
. Another change is that they are able to increase their vegetable production.
